A key pillar of the Orion Little Stars experience is our balanced daily routine, ensuring children benefit from both focused indoor learning and essential outdoor exploration. The day is expertly structured to allow for deep engagement in learning activities inside, complemented by invigorating outdoor fun.
Our indoor sessions are rich with play-based learning, where children naturally develop skills—from capacity comparisons in the water tray (Scotts Park) to detailed artistic expression in our 'All About Me' art projects.
Equally important is our dedicated outdoor time. Whether it’s playing hide-and-seek, enjoying our popular mud kitchens, or exploring capacity in the water tray, the outdoors offers vital opportunities for gross motor skill development, risk-taking, and collaborative play. This essential balance supports the whole child, ensuring they are not only academically ready but also physically and socially confident for their next steps in school.
We firmly believe in continuous improvement, and the excellent progress seen in our children's reading, writing, and numeracy skills is a testament to this balanced and thoughtful approach.
