This term at Orion Little Stars Blenheim, the children have enjoyed learning through the much-loved story Stick Man. We explored the book through storytelling, creative artwork, role play, and outdoor learning. These experiences supported the children’s language development, imagination, and growing confidence.
As we approached the Christmas period the children enjoyed talking about winter, sharing Christmas stories, making decorations, and singing festive songs. These activities encouraged creativity, supported social development, and helped the children learn about seasonal celebrations.
It has been a wonderful term full of excitement, learning, and festive fun, and the children have made fantastic progress throughout.
Looking Ahead to Next Term
Next term, we will continue our learning journey by exploring feelings, kindness, and caring for others through our new topic, Caring for Others. We will bring this topic to life using the stories The Smartest Giant in Town and The Colour Monster, supporting children’s emotional development, empathy, and understanding of their own and others’ feelings.
We look forward to another term full of learning, growth, and fun!
